Calmless

It’s been a hectic day. It’s been a hectic week and it has been a hectic month altogether. We all know this as we go thru the ups and downs of our ever exciting journey.
I needed to refocus. I needed to clear my mind. I needed to get new inspiration and surround myself with the natural elements.
Just like several times a month I went back to Baker beach, one of my favorite places to get motivated and have new ideas. The evening was warm, the waves were not strong and Mother nature around me had this incredible calming effect on the person who entered its realm.
When the fall season comes to the Bay, the sun sets behind the Presidio from this viewpoint. Usually covered by a thick layer of clouds above the water or hidden by the fog the colors just vanish as the power of the sun goes under the horizon. But this night was different and I experienced something, which was just simply special. The orange hue of the setting sun was reflected in the thin layer of fog. And above all mixed with the evening lights of the surrounding homes. The reflection was beautiful.
As I said goodbye to another day I knew things were going into the right direction. Somebody up there wanted it that way. Going from the warmth of the familiar to the open possibilities of the unfamiliar. It was calming to know that everything is going to be OK.
