February, 2017 | Grand View Point, San Francisco, CA
A beautiful view of the Farallon Islands from Grand View Point. This
image is called “Hope”. Off the coast of San Francisco lie the island
group of The Farallones. The name originates from the Spanish farallón
meaning “sea cliff” and the island group is about 28 miles (45km)
outside the Sutro Bath area...
November, 2017 | Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Early morning, fall colors, beautiful weather and full Moon. A good
combination for a great image. Happens only once a year. And all this
from the Snake River Lookout in Wyoming’s Grand Tetons National Park...
September, 2014 | Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Magnificent scenery at the end of September in the Grand Tetons, Wyoming. The visit was planned just for the right time to catch the peak color change of the aspen and cottonwood trees in this amazing national park...
First protected in 1864, Yosemite became a World Heritage Site in 1984. And for a good reason.
Apart from the destruction what settlers and people caused to nature
in the area we can be thankful for certain individuals like Galen Clark

Some places in this world have very unique and well recognizable rock formations. Cabo San Lucas is one of them.

The biggest and Mexico’s best known beach resort city always has

I still cant get over the majesty of the aurora. The green, the cold, the snow, the sky, the stars and all the excitement coming with it. It was an adventure and a dream-like phenomenon, which we’ll always remember with great excitement...
San Francisco`s climate is unique in itself, consisting of various
microclimates and plays host to some great collections of tree ferns from all around the world that flourish very well here.
The Tree Fern Forest is one of my personal favorites...
I dont measure the good days in life by good sunsets and sunrises,
but some of them burn into my memory forever. Our trip with family to Half Moon Bay was great on its own. However on
the way back to San Francisco the cloud formations suggested that the weather conditions
were ideal for the rare sunset when the layered clouds would reflect
back the last rays of the sun...
January 9, 2012 | Glacier Point, Yosemite National Park, CA
A panorama which takes your breath away! Magical.
The purple belt on Half Dome at twilight. Out of this world !
It is very rare that big snowfalls dont block the way to Glacier
Point in the middle of winter and because of the snow the Glacier Point
Road is usually closed between November and May...
